Carlisle TPO Flat Roofing System over BUR Roof

Nashville roofer, MidSouth Construction Commercial Roofing Contractors installed a new Carlisle TPO Flat Roofing System over existing BUR roof on a commercial building located in Nashville, TN.   Our most recent commercial roofing project included removing loose gravel from an existing BUR roof system and dispose of all debris.

1″ ISO insulation was then installed over the existing BUR (Built-Up Roof) roof system in preparation for the new Carlisle TPO roofing system.

A new 60 Mill mechanically attached TPO flat roofing system in White was installed per Carlisle manufacturer specifications and details.  Midsouth Construction Commercial Roofing and General Contracting is an authorized installer for Carlisle Syntec TPO Roof Systems.  We are also authorized to make repairs to any Carlisle roofing system that is already installed on a commercial property.

All penetrations were flashed according to Carlisle manufacturer specifications.  This included flashing all HVAC units, plumbing vents, roof drains and electrical.

A new 24 gauge Kynar metal counter flashing and aluminum termination bar around perimeter of new roof system.

A 15 year manufacturers warranty is provided since MidSouth Construction Commercial Roofing is an authorized applicator for Carlisle  TPO Flat Roofing systems.

This beautiful new TPO flat commercial roofing system will provide many years of low maintenance protection for this business.  A white TPO flat roof system is both energy efficient and durable.

EPDM Ballasted Flat Roof System

The second phase of this Flat roofing system project included removing an existing ballasted flat roof system from EPDM roof system and reuse after the new EPDM was installed.  

Our crews removed the existing EPDM flashings and vent existing field membrane and disposed of the debris.  They then installed a 60 Mil EPDM ballasted Carlisle roof system according to manufacturer specifications and details.  All penetrations were flashed according to Carlisle specifications including the HVAC units, plumbing vents, roof drains and electrical.  

Crews redistributed ballast on top of the new EPDM roof system after flashing and seams were all completed.  A new 24 gauge Kynar metal counter flashing and aluminum termiantion bar around the perimeter of the new roofing system was installed.
